Well anyway, i didnt buy any and left westmall real fast. My sis bought a formal top that isnt really very formal to me..but i thought maybe its ok for the presentation lar. Tmr shuhui also meeting me to pass me her formal wear to try. Hope it fits cos i went to buy with her the other time, and it's really nice! haha.:P
Went to the polyclinic after that to hand in my resume. It's also gekyan's last day of work there! I was so surprised and heng also cos i actually went on her final day! I felt kinda sad seeing her leave and everyone else..haha cos Hafsah also left that branch to work at other branches. MEryl went to Melbourne to study "Dietary"! If i go and work after graduation, i'll be so lonely and have to start to know the new staffs there. THey all dun look as nice and as friendly as them!Gekyan said that she is more relieved rather than sad ..and she might not even work long for her new job. She is learning facial stuff now..and might be opening facial services in her own house! Haha..hope she manage to do that..then she'll be so much happier!
I dun wanna get stuck working in a polyclinic for my whole life..so they were suggesting that i work for at least a few years before changing.BUT, another staff (alice) was not able to switch although she applied for hospital job every year! I thought of working in hospitals..but hospitals got not much vacancies & they would most prob hire those who have attachment in hospitals. I know there;s shift work..but i might not mind cos i haven tried.
Thinking abt it, it will be BORING no matter where i work if i wanna stick to this line! But if not, why am i even studyin this?haha..and i'm graduating -_-"
Should i work for awhile and teach tuition when i am free? After that go teach?haha..actually sis told me abt something like contract teaching...but i'm kinda scared to speak in front of a big crowd. BUt teaching has better pay also..and benefits. haiz..i feel so cheated to study this course...cos it's really not so good afterall.
There are many different sections and departments of labs in the hospitals...like microbiology, cytology, histology,hematology, blood bank..etc etc...
One of the staff at polyclinic told me that it isnt easy too cos when u find a job in these sections, u have to find one that requires more of ur skill and experience. Roles that cant be easily replaced..like cytology because the specimens are needed to be observed and interpreted under a microscope. Like micro, they need ppl to streak and do bacteria cultures. Blood banking...also need ppl. But these days, labs are having more and more improved automated machines to do the work..and ppl are not really required. Sianz!! Heard that the new CLS building in SP will need many TSO for the labs..wanna apply for it leh cos their pay actually higher than the lab tech outside.
Now i kinda regret not applying for UNI cos in the practical world, everything is dependent on ur piece of paper with grades that support ur life..but i also dun wish to study! haha..
How i wish i can really hook a "GOLDEN fish" and marry and get on with my life that is so relaxing!hai...can onli dream lar...nowadays everyone has to study and struggle and get stressed like mad!!! Take for example gek yan lor..haiz..see her soooo stressed as a supervisor..kept getting ppl backstabbing her...handling sooo many probs and stuff! Good for her now..hope she will have a more relaxing and happy life from now on. :D
After visiting them, bought dinner home and slept for one hour after eating haha..so pig!! I'm getting fatter and heavier!! HATE IT! These days always get home in the evening..need to do projects and worry this and that...realli never go exercise!
Woke up ard 730 n bathed immediately before watching my drama! Realli v v v plain lazy lor!!! Told myself i will work hard tmr..haha cos will be staying back after school to complete some project stuff.
Anyway, talked to jy jus now...haha. Toked abt many stuff lar..she will most prob be going overseas to study. I think thats good cos she will get more exposure and mature and learn more things and be more independent too. We agreed that she is ignorant and needs to explore and experience more..haha so we've decided to go clubbing after the exams! She will have to dress more lady-like..and she agreed leh! She said she really never go before and her mum even ask her to go cos she tink she is not "In". We are planning to drag ERMA, kh, collin..etc etc..hahaha...:D I wonder how will it turn out...like so wierd :X hehe
